Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am pleased to announce the immediate release of Pixelpost v1.7 (FINAL)!

What does this mean to me?

If you currently have a Pixelpost photoblog, you might want to upgrade in order to take advantage of the new super cool features, addons, and latest security measures.

Or if you don’t have a photoblog, its never been easer to get started! As our new install assistant basically installs itself!

For the complete list of changes, check out the New Features page.

How do I Install/Upgrade Pixelpost?

We have documentation for this very thing:
http://www.pixelpost.org/docs/GettingStarted/Install
http://www.pixelpost.org/docs/GettingStarted/Upgrade

NOTE: Prior to upgrading, please remove all Askimet related addons from your addons folder.

So, what are you waiting for… download Pixelpost v1.7 and let us know what you think!

    Hello Robert!

In order to use Pixelpost, you need to purchase a hosting account from a web host, such as eleven2.com
Flickr isn’t a a standard web host as they only share image files, they don’t allow you to upload other files such as Pixelpost.

If you would like more help, feel free to post a thread on our forums.

I upgraded to v1.7 when it first came out, and noticed that a lot of reference links in the php were missing a ‘/’. So after comments were posted, pages weren’t redirecting properly, etc. because the slash was missing and created a broken link. I’ve sifted through and corrected all these errors, but I can’t find where to fix the reference to the thumbnail image that is sent in the notification email when I receive a new comment. I’m not a php expert, but can usually find my way around.

I’ve registered in the forum, but for some reason am not allowed to post or send any messages after three months of waiting.

I’ve even tried re-installing pixelpost, but still get all the same errors.

Does anyone know how I can fix this last error, it’s driving me nuts!

    Thanks,
    Jay
