Auto Resize Admin Addon v1.21

Download (42 KB)

Developer Description

Requires Pixelpost 1.5 Resizes uploaded photo on fly. All photos after uploading are resized to a predefined size set in the Options >> Thumbnails in the admin panel. The special thing about this addon is that it preserives the EXIF data. (Thanks to Romain for the autoresize hack for 1.4.x)

in this version you can edit the admin_autoresize.php to keep the fullsize image or not. default it keeps the fullsize as fullsize_imagename.jpg

check out the line that reads: $keepfullsizeimage = TRUE; // change it FALSE if you don't want to keep the fullsize image. in admin_autoresize.php

This is great if you only upload portrait or lanscape, BUT if you want to do both then there is resize issues that can only be fixed by going to edit the file and turn it off!

This would be awesome if you could have on the upload page a few variables for:

    HEIGHT x

    WIDTH x

SO you know what I mean, all my lanscpaes are 1000 width x whatever it is with maintain aspect ration (usually 667)

all my portrait shots are 1000 HEIGHT x whatever width.

If we could have an option put the width or heigh with a MAINTAIN ASPECT RATIO button that would make this brilliant!!

    Is it possible??

will this be good to be able to use different sized photos in a template that allows only one size? if you say keep full size will it override the template's fixed size?

I would like to know if there a way to create a link tags to target the original full size images to include on the images_template page...
