I modified your AddOn in that way that it shows the list in three
different versions:
- normal list
- normal list with number of entries
- normal list with number of entries if there are entries for that category

all 3 versions for "normal" and for "paged" category list

the display of the list is either vertical or horizontal, defined by CSS
so users can define the layout themselves
