Uploaded pictures are bleached out

Hey there,

the pictures that I upload on my photoblog running Pixelpost 1.7.1 are somehow way paler than the originals, as you can see in this example:

I'm using the Autoresize Addon by dwilkinsjr.com, and assuming it has something to do with this loss of quality. Does anyone else experience the same problem and has a solution for it?

It's not that the image is paler, it's that it isn't as crisp as the larger original you have on Flickr.

I manually resized the Flickr version using the Image Zoom addon in Firefox to the same size as the one on your photoblog, and the results were identical.

I would strongly suggest that you manually resize your images locally using Photoshop or another photo editor prior to uploading them to your photoblog. That way you can control the amount of sharpness, saturation, etc. in the resized version.
