After being spammed by 500 messages a day on my website (www.shenzhenphotos.com), I went all out and activated all the possible spam controls that I could, including Akismet, tokens, and the block list. Apparently this is too much, because anyone who wants to make a comment, including myself, get this message:

Not Found
The comment could not be accepted because it got flagged as SPAM by our anti-SPAM measures (ERR: 01).

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Here are a few screenshots of my settings:

Any idea of what I can do to allow normal people to comment on my website?

Thanks!

You have enabled the token. Did you remember to put the tag into the comment form? My guess is not.

Error message 1 clearly identifies the wrong use of the <TOKEN>.

I pasted <TOKEN> between the <form>...</form> tags...just as the instructions said.

When I take the token out, I get this message:

Not Found
The comment could not be accepted because it got flagged as SPAM by our anti-SPAM measures (ERR: 01).

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

+++++++++++++

What else can I do?

Thanks!

ERR: 01 The comment was blocked because the token didn't match with the controltoken.

ERR: 01 The comment was blocked because the token didn't match with the controltoken.

I don't understand exactly what that means. Can you elaborate?

I disabled the token a few days ago, and I got my first spam message today...
