displaying differently in firefox and internet explorer?

does anybody know why the template i made will display correctly in firefox, but not in internet explorer?

the reason - > when u use "float" u should close "float" . u can use this style "clear:both;" and u can close "float". o.k.?

I know why there are differences

because Opera and Firefox are nearly (99%) standard-compliant browsers and Internet Explorer is not....

IE is a pain in the ass for every web developer, web designer...

first you should check your work in FireFox and Opera, if the code is ok and compliant and then test it in IE, if you see differences it's up to you if you want to spend your life to write work-arounds for IE or not.. :oops:

yeah, i hate that ie is not standards-compliant. in fact, it makes absolutely no sense to me as to why microsoft wouldn't follow suit. anyway, you have an interesting layout for your photoblog that i like. nice job.

and she, do you have your own photoblog? no link?
