Hi,

I just upgraded from pp1.5 to pp 1.7.1 and the upgrade process appeared to have been completed succesfully without error messages.

However, I have one big and three small problems now. The big problem is that my photo is now alligned to the right side of the browser screen and the logo and menu are above/underneath each other instead of next to each other. In other words, there's something wrong with the general layout, the aligning and/or the DIV structure. Before the upgrade, I didn't have this problem. Also, sometimes it's okay and sometimes it's not, depending how you got to the page. For example, when people open this link: http://www.krisvdv.net/pixelpost/ , they will see the bad layout, but when they click the PIX logo, the layout will be correct. When they click the photo and go to the previous one, layout will stay okay. But when they click archive and they click a random picture in the archive, again, the layout will be wrong?!.. I hope someone can help me out with this problem.

The smaller problems are:

- RSS Feed working or not? Depending on which RSS reader I'm using, the feed is displaying thumbnails or no thumbnails. Also, I've set the Feed settings to 'display full image' but I haven't seen this in the feed.

- The EXIF button no longer works. The EXIF window displays no info as if the exif info would be missing. Before the upgrade, this was no problem.

- The comment window used to display a thumbnail of my photo using this line of code: <img border="0" src="image.php?path=20090211230546_point-blank_pp.jpg&maxwidth=300&maxheight=300" />
But now, this no longer works and I just see the browser icon indicating the image cannot be found. Again, before the upgrade, this worked fine.

Many thanks in advance again for helping me out. The pixelpost community is awesome and I'm glad to be a part of it and to support it.

-Kris

== update ==

Hi,

I just upgraded from pp1.5 to pp 1.7.1 and the upgrade process appeared to have been completed succesfully without error messages. However, I have a few problems.

The big problem is that my photo is now alligned to the right side of the browser screen and the logo and menu are above/underneath each other instead of next to each other. Before the upgrade, I didn't have this problem. Also, sometimes it's okay and sometimes it's not, depending how you got to the page.

When you open the page (http://pixistenz.krisvdv.net), it's probably the bad layout, when you click Refresh in your browser, it's definitely the bad layout. But, when you click the "Latest" button in my top right menu TWICE(!), the layout will be correct?! Weird but true. When you then go to Archive or Random and you choose a photo, the layout will, again, be the bad version (until you click 'Latest' twice again).

Other problems are:

- RSS Feed not working? The feed is displaying no thumbnails. Also, I've set the Feed settings to 'display full image' but I haven't seen this in the feed. When I change it back to thumbnails, there are still no thumbnails in the feed.

You page layout seems OK to me. I'm using Safari 3.2.1 on my Mac.

As for your RSS feeds...

Log into your admin panel. Goto the options page.

Set the image path to:
../images/

and the thumbnails path:
../thumbnails/

Hi,

thanks for the reply

I've changed the image path (thumbnail path was already correct one), but still, after lots of refreshes, I'm still seeing no thumbnails or images in my feed?
