Hi, I tried searching a few times, but couldn't find anyone with the same problem as me. I also tried looking in the exif files that are a part of pixelpost and couldnt find the answer there either.
problem:
when i add photos taken from my film camera, the exif info isnt there (obviously), and displays 1969-12-31 for the date, as well as SP-2000 for the camera model. I'm using the extra exif info plug-in and pixelpost 1.4.1
Does anyone know what the problem is?
thanks in advance,
Leslie

what model is your film scanner?
perhaps it adds exif info!

It comes scanned on a cd when I get my film developed, so it must be the scanner from the store.
I tried to get rid of any exif info just now by using 'save to web' in photoshop, and that just got rid of SP-2000 for camera model, but didn't get rid of the 1969 date. Strange. Is there any other way besides 'save to web' in photoshop to get rid of exif info?
The 1969 date is a little frustrating, because it's kind of distracting :(
Thanks for that suggestion :) Does anyone else out there have this problem?

the only way i know is by using a gd-lib function (what we use to resize thumbnails at pixelpost!) on photos but I doubt you'd want to do that for any reason.
Could you just not include the date exif tag in your template?

I think 1969 is the starting date of PHP's function date()
