Hi and welcome to the forums. You failed to mention that you use the CAPTCHA addon, so it took me about 30 minutes to even understand what your problem is.

Well, now that I have found it perhaps I can give some pointers. First of, there are two files in the CAPTCHA addon: a addon for the frontpage functions and an addon for the administrator side. If you want to use it: both have to be turned on.

Since you didn't provide any link to your page I can only guess what is happening. My guess would be you have enabled the admin part but the front part is not enabled.

Well, if that is not the case, then perhaps you have enabled both addons, but forgot to use the correct tag in your template.

And if that is not the case....

I can go on for hours here, but since I already spend more than half an hour on I rather quit. Please be so kind to provide some more information next time, not only will it save me some time, but it'll get you answers more quickly as well.
