Hi

I've just installed Pixelpost 1.7.1 on a system running MySQL5 / PHP 5.

I'm using the Simple template and I found that when using Firefox (3.0.7/8) the comments pop-up window doesn't open. I've tried it with the pop-up blocker disabled and with a exception added; but clicking the Comments link is doing nothing. It works fine in IE7, IE8 and Chrome.

The site is at http://www.davidhollingworth.com/photoblog

Can anyone suggest why this isn't working?

Thanks

David

Install FireBug for Firefox (http://getfirebug.com/).

Enable Firebug for your Pixelpost photoblog and report any javascript errors...

BTW: The comment popup works fine for me on FF 3.0.7 (Mac).

Hi

Funnily enough it's actually the Firebug Add-on that's causing this.

I already have Firebug installed as I use it a good deal of the time; but in this case there were no errors appearing in the console so I disabled all my add-ons.

With all add-ons disabled the comments pop-up worked fine so I enabled them again one by one testing the pop-up each time. Last to be enabled was Firebug after which the Comments pop-up no longer appears. So it looks like some issue with Firebug.

BTW I'm running Firebug 1.3.3

David

Strange as I'm also using Firebug 1.3.3 and your comment popup works just fine...

Hopefully you can get it squared away... At least you can rule out Pixelpost as the problem...

Yes, I'm glad it's not Pixel Post which I was very impressed with.

Many thanks for your prompt assistance.
