I am trying to install PP 1.7.1. I have uploaded files to my server into a folder named PixelPost. I have an active website that I manage from this server (I am trying to evaluate other website solutions). The web address for my current website is tuckerthecat.net. The PixelPost folder is at the root, so I typed in the following address to set up PP: www.example.com/tuckerthecat.net/PixelPost/admin/install.php and I got a Not Found error. I'm assuming my syntax is incorrect -- what should it be? Or do I have to disable my current site to set up PP?
Thanks for your help.

try this: http://www.tuckerthecat.net/PixelPost/admin/install.php
It seems however, there is no folder called PixelPost in there.... so I'm not quite sure where it is.

I use Transmit to upload and it's showing the PixelPost folder there with all the files. Any other ideas?

I temporarily moved all my current website files to another folder and then moved the PP files to the root and I was able to get to the install screen. Is there a way to install and run PP from a dedicated folder on my web server, so that I can continue to run my current website while I test PP?
Thank you for your help.

yes, place PP inside a subfolder under the rootfolder.
