Hello all,
I have a new pixelpost photoblog and I'm experiencing a problem getting to my admin control panel.
When I enter this in the address bar of my browser: example.com/admin, I get a text-only web page with the heading "Index of /admin" at the top, followed by a bulleted list of the directory's contents.
Any ideas about how to get this to show the admin control panel again? (It worked for the first several days.)
Thank you,
- Jason

The index.php file in my admin directory currently shows as 0 bytes, with permissions 0000. So it got zapped somehow (anyone ever seen that?).
Problem is I can't overwrite it, or change the permissions on it, or delete it ... so uploading a new admin/index.php isn't working. If anyone has thoughts on this please let me know!
Thank you...

Try changing the permissions, and then deleting it. If that doesn't work, you may want to ask your web host if they can remove the file for you.
Also, if you're missing a file, you may want to simply re-upload Pixelpost again, just in case some other files got zapped. And don't worry, your database, and images/thumbnails folders will remain intact.

I spoke with my hosting company - they tried to delete the file for me but were not successful. Their comments: "What is going on is the code somewhere in the admin folder is a file or script that has the index.php file as a sym link in its code. Basically Meaning that without going through all you code, I can not delete it either."
I've tried replacing the file via FTP - can't do it. Renaming the file and then trying to replace it doesn't work either.
Ideas?
Thanks...
