at last i have found this great post engine, now i would love to have a simple template to post my daily photography.
i'd like to have a simple ~350px wide centered background for the images, where i post my photos on top of each other resulting in a kind of long vertical "filmstrip". seperators would be the posting dates. archiving would go on monthly basis preferably. can anyone give me any help transferring this into a template?
many thanks 4 all,

have a go at just modifying the pixelpost_light template. I use it as a basis for all my templates.

Peole really seem to have a hard time creating the template from scratch... Is there some interest in me making a step by step guide on how to make it from scratch?

doffer, yes, do it!

In the moment we just have a list of Tags, a step by step would really be great!! and aprreciated very much!

Then I'll start working on it...

I'll try to go a bit in the depth, and that combined with the fact that I have quite a few exams in front of me will probably slow it down... But if people have waited this long, they'll probably be patient enough to wait a week or two :)

I'm still troubled, i spent all weekend going through a XHTML Tutorial and a CSS tutorial from lynda.com but still find it diffucult on how to start a whole page from scracth. How to design it and approach it.

I specially find it hard on how to make the images for a template, i see how they design a header and a background image and several other parts that align together. I'm going to go through a photoshop tutorial this weekend and hopefully get a better understanding.

it takes time to learn these things, a few weeks and you'll actually be good at it, plus its a useful tool in todays world

we are working on new templates to be bundled with the next version, the files will be commented well so hopefully users will have an easier time modifying them
