I'm currently finishing up on a template I started yesterday which should hopefully introduce a much more user friendly format to templates.

Have a look here: http://dev.jlspurling.com/pixelpost/1.4.1/

I'm currently working on making the css file and the template files much more understandable and easy to modify than any other template released so far.

This is basically just a modification to pixelpost_light and hopefully has the same, if not improved functionality.

Somewhere on the way though I think this template has become a bit dull (bare in mind though I want to keep it easy for users to modify themselves - just look at the amount of comments in my CSS files!) and I was hoping that some of you could give me some suggestions on how to improve on the design... please don't suggest images though as I want to keep the template fairly simple.

Cheers.

i dig it, and what you have in mind for it, comment the hell out of that css document abd html page for others to learn from...and along your path, things come dull, but from them generally come better ideas...

nice.
how did you get the short input lines, ie "name", "url" etc?
in standard template they're large as much as the page width

How about EXIF info somewhere?

I like it!

I'll look into this. I must use a small resolution than you two (1024x768) as it looks pretty good my end. I will simply enlargen it i think, thanks for the heads up on that one!

Just wanted to let you know that i love you template... It's really nice, and I'll probably modify it a bit and use it for my own site when it's done...

It's pretty much the same as chromasia, except from the info thing under the picture...
