I uploaded an image at one time and then decided to take it down and put a larger file of the same picture. The admin utility uploaded the image successfully (can be seen in FTP client (FileZilla)). But does not appear on the actual webpage. I've repeated the process numerous times (i.e. deleting image and reloading). I have even tried renaming the file/using different dates, and then uploading again with no luck. Also tried clearing the cache/history of my browser to see if that was an issue. Again no luck. The image does appear in the thumbnail page.

The image in question is the very last one (right now listed as image 17). Also since I've deleted the images a number of times the sequence is not correct, for example there is no image 1,2, 12 etc. (in the index.php?/showimage='#').

Is the image size too large? As for the sequence, 1,2,3 etc I don't think you can do anything about that.

No the image is not too big. All my images are the same size (dimensionally and in terms of MB, i.e. 1.6 MB).

The only post manipulation I do is add a watermark and shrink the size of the photos before posting.

All I did was take down a smaller version of the file and put up a larger one, it will not load.

I think there may be a bug in this template (or maybe i modified it wrongly by accident) because when I revert to pixelpost's template the image loads fine.

Also, I tried the same thing again. Uploaded a different image (full size) took it down from the site, opened the image in Photoshop CS resized it to 21.5%, saved it, and re-uploaded. The image wouldn't load on the actual website!
