Moblogging with Pixelpost

I'd like to create a "moblog," or emailed photoblog. Does anyone know how to get an email attachment (such as from a camera phone) into a Pixelpost photoblog? I'd like to be able to send the SMS/MMS to a dedicated email address and have something strip the text from the message (subject and/or body) to use as the post text (title, body), and place the attached image into a predefined directory, and incorporate it into the post.

it simply can be done with an addon. just find some one willing to wright such an addon for you.

I suppose I'd better consider this a call for developers then, eh? I've tried EasyMoblog which has been mentioned on this forum, and I can't stand the way it tries to do everything for me . . .

So how about it? Anyone interested in writing an addon which will check a POP box and post the results to Pixelpost? (Without using PHP IMAP extensions, ideally.)
