i have read quite a few posts with all simular issues but there seems no definitive resolution, i cant seem to upload any images, i have created the images and thumbnail folders, and followed the install instructions, please any help would be great.heres my general info;

PHP-version 4.3.10 (Pixelpost's min requirement: PHP version 4.3.0)

MySQL version 4.0.16-nt (Pixelpost's min requirement: MySQL 3.23.58)

GD-lib bundled (2.0.28 compatible) with JPEG support

Server software Apache/2.0.53 (Win32)

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.

Paths
Guessed imagepath: C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/htdocs/phpimages/

Configured Imagepath /pixelpost_1.4.1/images/

Image Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/images) - Thumbnails folder not writable!
You must set correct permissions on this folder or you will not be able to create any thumbnails.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).

Thumbnails Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/thumbnails) -

Language Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/language)

Addons Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/addons)

Includes Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/includes)

Templates Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /pixelpost_1.4.1/templates)

what I do not understand:

are you working on a local PC?

if so, how comes that the guessed imagepath is Guessed imagepath: C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/htdocs/phpimages/ and the image-path is http://localhost/phpimages and not /images as it should be?

where is your Pixelpost-Directory sitting?
under /localhost?
what is the directory structure of that directory:

/phpimages or /images ???

i havnt a clue, i downloaded pixelpost, did what it said (i think) and here we are, tell me what i need to get and i will, sorry
