Hello,

I'm very excited to try pixelpost.

I've got it installed and this is my configuration.

---start General Info---

Pixelpost Version
You are running version 1.4.1 of Pixelpost. Released 24 April 2005.

Host Information
PHP-version 4.3.10 (Pixelpost's min requirement: PHP version 4.3.0)

MySQL version 4.1.11-log (Pixelpost's min requirement: MySQL 3.23.58)

GD-lib bundled (2.0.28 compatible) with JPEG support

Server software Apache/1.3.31 (Unix) DAV/1.0.3 mod_gzip/1.3.26.1a PHP/4.3.10 mod_ssl/2.8.19 OpenSSL/0.9.6c

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.

Paths

Configured Imagepath /home/kanai/kanai.net/photos/

Image Directory: OK - Can we write to the directory? YES.

Thumbnails Directory: OK - Can we write to the directory? YES.

Language Directory: OK

Addons Directory: OK

Includes Directory: OK

Templates Directory: OK

---end General Info---

However, when I got to post a photo, I get this error.

---start error messages from /admin/index.php...

Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/.dangerous/kanai/kanai.net/photos/includes/functions.php on line 92

Warning: chmod(): No such file or directory in /home/.dangerous/kanai/kanai.net/photos/includes/functions.php on line 94

---end error messages from /admin/index.php...

Of course, I have checked to make sure that functions.php is in that exact location, so I'm not sure why PP thinks there is "no such file or directory" when General Info says that it is there.

I've checked my permissions and they are 777 for /images and /thumbnails.

I'm kinda stuck and would appreciate some help.

Sincerely,

Gen Kanai

see here: Configured Imagepath /home/kanai/kanai.net/photos/

PixelPost needs a directory "images", why "photos" is configured?
did you change that in the admin/general Info ?

why?

I checked your installation, Pixelpost sits in /photos

you have /photos/images
you have /photos/thumbnails/

so go to Admin/general Infos and set the image-path correct to
/home/kanai/kanai.net/photos/images

I never understand how it comes that this info is wrong so often, why this is changed and then it won't work...

tell me if it working

Connie,

Thank you very much- it is now working!

I'm sorry to be a little slow- it is my first time working with Pixelpost.

Thanks very much!
