to use pixelpost with several users on a domain. My idea is that people can create accounts in pixelpost and can have their own personal photoblog with it.
Is this possible with Pixelpost?
If not, do you have any recommendations for this?

do you mean have multiple users on one blog? no - this isn't possible, but you could use categories for different users.
or do you mean multiple blogs on one server? you can just make multiple installs of PP using one database - just be sure to use different table prefixes each time.

Thx for ur answer.
Well, Im looking for a solution, where people can create their own photoblog by their own. Do you a solution for that?
Thx

it's pretty hard to make pixelpost installation anymore automatic! if you want to give people the ability to create a pixelpost program on your server then you need to give them ftp and mySQL access.

How many users do you want to have with their own blog?
If it's a lot, then I think a product like Coppermine Gallery will fit better
but if it's a not too big number, why not create a form where they have to apply for a blog, ask them for the name of the Blog etc., their email-adress etc. and create the blog for them, it's just two or three small steps:
- upload a complete set of files to that directory for the user
- edit pixelpost (which you will have prepared already), just add the prefix of the tables
- upload that
- install it
- open admin to test and enter the name of the blog and the email adress
if you want to give service to your users, you can
otherwise, if you want to do that commercially, for sure you will find a gifted programmer, shell-script programmer, who will write you an install procedure for all that, maybe
- have a form
- enter the form data to a databasetable
- run the installscript with data from that databasetable
but you might understand that this is not our job, we are individuals
