Hello, I searched for this but didn't get any results.
Has anyone sucessfully used Bloglet with PixelPost?
The reason I ask is because no matter what I do, I get some sort of error concerning the RSS or the Atom feeds.
I get this one for the RSS: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.
And I get a different one for the Atom that I can't get it to pull up right now (I think I won't know until it tries to send to the subscription list and gets the error).
So I am not that well versed with RSS, I have no clue what "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime" really means.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
(Oh this is for http://resonate.ws)

Please tell me: what is bloglet?
which version of PP are you running? Since 1.4.1 for sure we produce valid code...
You can check the validity of our blogs with http://www.feedvalidator.org and you will see that we produce valid feeds
we checked it, I checked it as I wrote this part,
only if you enter characters like '&' you will have a problem, as we found out..
so sometimes it's not the website, blog which is wrong but the tools...

Ooops, sorry I guess I should have mentioned this before. Bloglet is http://bloglet.com and they allow you to add your weblog to them and when users subscribe via Bloglet they can get all their subscriptions by email, one email a day. It does this by checking your feeds.
I did find the single & in a post and fixed that, so the feed does now validate. But it still is giving me errors for Bloglet. I am running 1.4.1.
I get the same error for the RSS as I mentioned before and then for the Atom I get:
ERROR: The server returned the error below:
[The server at http://resonate.ws/index.php?x=atom generated the following error]:

OH, Edit:
This is what they say:
Bloglet is rejecting RSS feeds with dates in the following format: "Tue, 21 Oct 2003 24:56:21 -0500". Its probably a good idea to change your date to adhere to the XML-RPC spec, found here: http://www.xml-rpc.com/spec.
So I will look at it, but I am not sure what I should change or where, etc....
Thanks!

well,
you will understand that we won't change our programs just because some third party does not accept valid output,
but I might think of adding another variant with date in other format, but I am not sure when I could do that..
unfortunately Anti-Comment-SPam-Addon needs correction and update more urgently... (urgently or urgent? don't know...)

urgently connie.
our rss feeds are valid so any problems bloglet is claiming are their problem, not ours. sorry for being so useless! hehe :P

No, I understand, it's cool. I wasn't expecting you to change the program, I was just hoping I could make some changes to my installation alone. But some further review into this shows me that it's not going to be so easy. I was able to change the timestamp format, but it still wasn't accepting it. Someone told me that Bloglet, though it says it does, doesn't actually accept straight RSS or Atom right now.
Thanks :)
