As my titlle suggests, my password does not work. I really do not know anything about programming or how to get in and fix this. I do not maintain my photoblog on pixelpost. All I know is that beginning this morning, when I went to put in my password, it just didn't and still doesn't work. The password recovery feature does not work either. It says:

Database error:
Updating the new password failed. Back to admin page

How do I get this fixed?. If this is going to be some heavy tech stuff, I will copy it for my friend who maintains my site for me, but hopefully it is easier than that.

Anxiously awaiting your help!

i'm having the same problem.

pixelpost 1.4.1
all server stuff versions are equal to or higher than required.
attempted to change password in phpMyAdmin, didn't work.
read all the other posts tagged with password trouble and tried the fixes suggested, no go.
when i attempt to use the 'forgot password' form i get a database error. i noticed that it also CHANGES the password in phpMyAdmin but the new password doesn't work either.

i had an older version of pixelpost on my server [1.3?] but deleted EVERYTHING and tried to load 1.4.1 as a clean install [i only had 2 pictures uploaded to the older version]. when running the install.php it never gave me the option to make a login/password.

I findout that you don't have includes directory!
how that could happen if you've installed 1.4.1? The whole file structure is 1.3 but you copied 1.4 files into it?

First upgrade properly and then try to login!

UPDATE:
I should update this. I was wrong includes directory is there. but I still thinkg something is missing there.
