Hi folks,
I am new to Pixelpost and I cannot get upload any image.
There is some info that could help :
Guessed imagepath: /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/images/
Configured Imagepath /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/images/
Image Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/images) - Thumbnails folder not writable!
You must set correct permissions on this folder or you will not be able to create any thumbnails.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).
Thumbnails Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/thumbnails) -
Language Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/language)
Addons Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/addons)
Includes Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/includes)
Templates Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /home/imagit/web/pixelpost/templates)
when I login on my FTP, I am in "web" folder then go to "www" folder there is pixelpost with images and thumbnails that are set with 777 chmod.
Thanks for your help guys :)

there is really a lot of wrong things ahead...
what is your domain-name?
can you see the directories whith the browser?
http://www.yourdomain.com/web/pixelpost or
http://www.yourdomain.com/web/www/pixelpost?
which PixelPost-Version did you install?
PixelPost does not come with folder "www"

use ftp address for image path
(use public_html instead of www)

well, when I call http://www.imagit.net/pixelpost/admin/ in Browser, I get the login-page
when I call http://www.imagit.net/pixelpost/ I get the message: Coming soon..
http://www.imagit.net/pixelpost/images exists
http://www.imagit.net/pixelpost/thumbnails exists
so correct the image path like Ramin suggested and try again
Good luck!

I have exactly the same problem:
After installation:
table pixelpost_config created...
table pixelpost_categories created...
table pixelpost_pixelpost created...
table pixelpost_comments created...
table pixelpost_visitors created...
table pixelpost_config populated...
Remember your data:
User: pietrek_b
Pass: ***********
table pixelpost_version created...
table pixelpost_catassoc created...
Added timezone support...
Added customizable category links support...
Added HTML notification email support...
Added email in comments support...
Longer name field in comments support...
Longer url field in comments support...
Added indexes to pixelpost_config...
Added indexes to pixelpost_categories
Added indexes to pixelpost_comments
Added indexes to pixelpost_pixelpost
Added indexes to pixelpost_visitors
Updated indexes...
table pixelpost_version updated to 1.4.1 ...
The tables are all set.
Done.
Let's see if we can save images in the folder images:
» Images folder is writable, which is a good thing.
Let's see if we can save thumbnails in the folder thumbnails:
» Thumbnails folder is writable.

What is wrong?
I have absolutely no idea. I have pixelpost directly at: http://pietrek.bobos.ca
I tried to move it to public_html -> no effect.
and also i cannot see images and thumbnails folders which I`ve created (they exist, cause i can see them on my ftp client)

I see you are on a free hosting service
try to find out the version of MySQL and of PHP
it could be that they are too old
did you check the forum of your hoster?
I did and I found a lot of questions about scripts, safe mode, permissions etc.
I am sure you will understand that I cannot read all of them for you, but I can ask you to find out the limitations of the free hosting space
very often the use of free hosting space announces MYSQL and PHP etc., but some restrictions are set as well
have a look here: http://www.bobos.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107
or read this message here:
I will look at your site to check.....The problem is that some functions is disabled .....security reasons....Sorrry.....Some users do not understand what is freeeeeeeeeee......!!!!
at http://www.bobos.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=82
remember: it's not always the script which goes wrong, there are more partners in the game

yeah, I`ve figured that for free means you-never-know-what-to-expect.
But I`ve contacted with admin so maybe there is solution for my case.
Btw. I`m constantly looking for some free web hosting for my photoblog, but till today I`ve found only 10mb account which works perfectly( http://pietrek.gaa.pl )... I know that dhost.info is great cause my friend is using it. My problem is that they don`t respond for my account requests... :/
