Seeking WordPress ~ PixelPost help

All,

I have read numerous posts on integrating WordPress and PixelPost however there are no compresensive How To's or for us amateurs a path to follow....or maybe I missed it which is very possible.
Would someone please (someone help me please) give detailed (more than "edit the image_template.html and add the path to WP, its easy" directions on how to do the following:

What would make me "happy as a school girl" would be to be able to do the following with my ingredients...

Pixelpost is a very elegant solution and I understand that it's not intended to be a blog/journal as wordpress however maybe just maybe a little journal addon might be nice :-)

I am eagerly awaiting the new upgrade especially the new theme!!!

forgive me for being slightly confused over exactly what you're intending to do.

but if you simply want to transfer your entries from wordpress into pixelpost, then give this thread a go:

Sorry but I thought I was clear...the examples i included is what i want to do. Include PixelPost with Word Press. I feel I have just opened myself up to the slings and arrows...

Is there a way to encapsulate Word Press into PixelPost and not just the images but the text and side bar as well?

sorry. i did misunderstand... though i never pretended to understand completely. i understand now.


i'm sure there is a way but i wouldn't recommend it.

if you honestly want to give it a shot then you'll need to understand the file structures of both programs very well and somehow go about merging them together.

i can't offer any more help beyond that.

I have just passed three hours and I did it....I basicly followed the instruction in this post: http://pixelpost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1524&highlight=template and used some of my logic... try it you will succeed. if you want to see the result visit my site:

when you click on the "photo" you will be asked for username and password which are:

famille
eternite

When you get to the photo page, right click with your mouse on the page and look for the source code, it will help you to understand what to change in your files.

YESS YESS YESSS thats it!!! I will take a look at the code.

Would like to add....It worked well and I also had to add the gallery ( <li> ) navcontainer in the wordpress header.php to point to my gallery directory.
