I have just finished building a theme, which is based on the pixelpost-light theme. You can see it in action at http://www.agit8.org/pixblog. If you like the theme you can download it at http://www.pixelpost.org/v1/index.php?x=downloads&details=92.

This theme is built with the concept that everything should fit in the browser window without any scrolling necessary. It is built to be as standard compliant as possible and hides the thumbnails and other elements by default which can be shown by clicking on buttons and hidden by clicking on the same buttons.

Make sure you read the README file in the zip file before applying the theme.

jmz,

please change the codepage in your template to

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

we produce UTF-code and the user will run into problems when he is using umlauts etc....

there is info in the template-section with the subject "Validate please!"

I hear the tibetan prayer mill in the background... :cry:

Please browse to Pixelpost.org/v1 and sign out as a developer and upload the template there too.

Thanks:)

I have noticed that there are still some little problems with the template validation, but I need to know what charset is best to use. All that aside, I appreciate all your feedback, it has been very useful.

Raminia, I have uploaded the template into the dev section as you suggested. Thanks :)

jmz,

I made a mistake when copying the code, as joey noticed already, it should always be <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

and nothing else! Sorry, my mistake

please do not upload any template which is not validating, read my posting about validating, and fixing HTML and CSS-errors, it will be easy to use the Firefox Browser + WebDeveloper Extension!

Yesterday I tried the http://validator.w3.org/ to validate the template and it did not validate. Today, it happily declares that the code in the template is valid! Go figure!

Don't get me wrong, though, I am really happy that it validates. It can only be good and hope that Connie is happy too ;) (Hey, that was just a joke, Ok).
