Hello, I have seen related topics with the same question, I want to add a function to my site so that people can browse only the pictures from the categorie they've selected. The related topics I found with almost the same questions are to heavy for me to understand, is there anyone with a easy solution? (maybe there isn't)

I'll hope someone can help me, my knowledge of php and html is almost zero :(

the site i'm talking about is http://www.voldaan.info

thank you

Frans,

you need only one knowledge: to read :lol:

have a look into the folder "doc" which comes with the package, there is a file "pixelpost-tags.txt"

there you find a group:
Tags to be used in browse_template.html
================================================== =======
<THUMBNAILS> || in browse archive template, class "thumbnails" in the CSS-file
<BROWSE_CATEGORIES> || OPTION-Box with all categories of your photoblog
<BROWSE_CHECKBOXLIST> || checkbox-list to choose between images of all categories
or some categories, shows all your categories + "all"

so you see, you can choose between <BROWSE_CATEGORIES> and <BROWSE_CHECKBOXLIST>

I moved this posting to the template-section, as this is nothing for a hack or modification... :wink:

thank you for your reaction, i have read that section of the docs, but thats not quite what i ment. I would like an option to browse images of one categorie as large pictures, not only the thumbs. When I choose a categorie and view it as thumbs it works fine, but when I click on thnumb the big picture opens en then when I want to see the next picture in that categorie I'll have to go back to the thumbspage. I'll hope you understand what i mean, english is nog my main language so it's not easy to explain myself.
