I recently moved my pixelpost installation from one host to another, and the first thing I noticed was that my visitor counter information got reset (even though i exported my MYSQL database).
Now it seems that the visitor counter gets reset to 0 every day. Why might this be happening?

are you using 1.4.2? then you should use tags inside advanced_stats.php addon.
and read this too

I am using 1.4.2. And I've added the ADVNCD_SITE_VISITORNUMBER tag, which seems to work fine (phew!), however, the number of visitors this month (as seen on the admin page) still says 0. I've tried using the option "Summerize records of current month until today into the stats table?" and still, it stays at 0. When, in fact, it should be the same # as the number of all visitors, since I've had the site active for less than one month. Any ideas?

Asking me, I tell you it's buggy!
why we should save the visitors data when there are already saved in the cpanel? why we should do this when there are some professional site statistic system available that do not count spammer and do a very good job?
This visitors table and site statistics had consumed much of dev time to fight some evil creatures called spam! I would neglect the visitors number and rely I cpanel statistics or my nedstat statistics and took of the bookvisitor function from index.php.
sorry for gettin you involved in details but I'm gettin mad of these bugs!
