Help Please, switching servers - Thumbnails not rewriting?

I moved to a new server and moved pixelpost too. The pixelpost installation is working just fine. I moved the photoblog over too, but none of the pictures are showing up? Is there any way to correct this?

Nate,

did you backup the database at the old server and write that back into the new server?

did you edit the pixelpost.php to enter the new database name etc.?
I don't believe that database data is the same as before..

did you check the image-path in the admin-section / general info?

I went and re-did the backup part and the pictures are working now... Here's another problem though, I am unable to redo thumbnails... I get the following error for every image in the directory:

Warning: imagejpeg(): Unable to open '../thumbnails/thumb_20050719205112_pinetrees1.jpg' for writing in /home/talking1/public_html/photoblog/includes/functions.php on line 92

IT IS ALSO followed by the follow warning:

Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in /home/talking1/public_html/photoblog/includes/functions.php on line 94
The thumnails directory is chmoded at 777!

Okay everybody, I double checked everything that Connie advised, and still no use... I cannot regenerate thumbnails. I get the same errors still. Yet, in the general information, everything seems to be working fine. Here's the info:

PHP-version 4.3.11 (Pixelpost's min requirement: PHP version 4.3.0)
MySQL version 4.0.24-standard (Pixelpost's min requirement: MySQL 3.23.58)

GD-lib bundled (2.0.28 compatible) with JPEG support

Server software Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.11 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.22 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP-CGI/0.1b

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.
