EXIF data incorrect re: flash [Archive]

On almost all of my Canon 20d photos, the exif says flash was fired, when I know very well it was not. Friend with 20d has observed the same.

how are you saving your photos?

Photos are taken in jpg, altered in photoshop, saved in jpg.

how do you save them out of photoshop?

"Save as" in jpg format. Once in a while I will keep the psd format. I then increase the compression to get down to about 130k file.
