unable to upload image online

i've uploaded all the pixelposte stuff and ready to upload images but i get an error when uploading a picture:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to access /images/20050809062947_ciel.jpg in /var/www/free.fr/f/1/cybercap/pixelpost/admin/index.php on line 419

my images & thumbnails dir are created in the pixelpost dir and path to images in admin is /images/
I CAN'T chmod these dirs better than 700, is this my problem ?

nb: pixelpost worked like a charm using easyphp locally

Change the images path to ../images/ and see if that fixes things.

Note to the developers: Given the sheer number of support queries this change fixes, is it worth changing the default value of the image path to ../images/? Is there any situation when ../images/ doesn't work?

note that my images & thumbs dir are only chmodded to 700, which seems to be enough (anyway i can't get more permission)

If i may:
- how do you close the comments (i don't want users to be able to add some), is there a quick or do i just need to remove the link in the template file ?
- how can i define the "dark" template by default

To close comments, remove the comment tags from the template. That way they won't show up on the website.

In the admin you can set the default template. I believe the option is under Options>>Templates.

I chose to show the horizontal calendar but it does not appear in the gallery
