Lost password or username

First off all, i love pixelpost :) !

Anyway i cant login anymore. I simply forgot the password or username.. I seached in the .php files if i could change it there but didnt find anything. How can i login in the admin section again!?

I am having the exact same problem. I was logged in just fine and I decided to change my username for Pixelpost admin. I typed in the new name, and left the password field empy, as I didn't want to change my password. It automatically sent me to the login page and I have tried everything to log in and it won't let me. Doesn't anyone know what to do?!

Ive used the search and found this:

if you have Cpanel then

1- if you have pp v1.3
try this query in phpmyadmin in cpanel
UPDATE pixelpost_config SET `password`='mynewpassword'

and it will be ok

2- if you have pp v1.4.x
try this query in phpmyhadmin in cpanel
UPDATE pixelpost_config SET `password`=MD5('mynewpasssword')

OR

if you have set email address in version 1.4.x you can submit it and receive a new password by email through password recovery feature.

I used the first option and logged in my phpmyadmin, but now im kind of lost... i never used phpmyadmin before, so i dont know how or where 2 use that query

select your db from drop menu on the left.
then in the main page press a button at top that says SQL
press ot and paste the query there.
