i have a question, im very new to PHP and especially PixelPost and i finally got it running.

i have a photo a day site which is comprised of about 9 months of photos. i have been creating subdirectories in my images folder (on that other site) based on each individual month etc.

is there a way to run the same kind of directory sub structure using Pixel Post or do i just have to leave all of the images in the same IMAGES directory??

thanks in advance!
abel.

Abel,

in the moment only the images-directory is used for images, the script is planned for that

you could suggest that for further versions, feature request, if you can't find another way to go through :P

As Connies says right now it's one folder for all images and it can't be done in any other way without hacking the script extensively.

But for future updates, can you tell me the benefits of putting them in subfolders?

ahhh ic no problem..

my naming sequence on my images goes acorrding to date. i name my images as such

20nov04.jpg
21nov04.jpg
22nov04.jpg

etc etc and i usually name my subdir's as follows

/2004-08-Aug
/2004-09-Sep
/2004-10-Oct
/2004-11-Nov

etc

its just makes it easier for me to catalog my daily images . ive tweaked my image names now which makes it easier for me to work in one images dir.

10-30oct04.jpg
10-31oct04.jpg
11-01nov04.jpg
11-02nov04.jpg
11-03nov04.jpg
11-04nov04.jpg

this way they are all listed in sequence in my directory...

i was just curious to see if it was possible in the current state of the proggie. its not a must have since ive tweaked the naming but theres prolly so much about this proggie that im not familiar with. i just wanted to make sure is all.

great job on pixelpost overall. i really like it!!!
