I just installed Pixelpost with the changes to be made in pixelpost.php.
Everything worked perfect. Also the MY SQL-Installation and the Admin-Page.
I uploaded two photos and connected to my pixelpost installation (http://www.kohler-online.com/pixelpost/index.php).
My Questions:
When I click on "Kommentare/Comments" a small blank white window opens. That's it. After a while an alert window opens with this text:"Redirection limit for this URL exeeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may caused by cookies that are blocked."
By the way...I use Netscape and cookies are allowed.
When I click on "home" "Browse" & "About" nothing happens just the same alert window shows up ???
Please help...

as I found in google, this error with redirection must be caused by server configuration and happens sometimes with blog software, but I do not know exactly the reasons for that
I just know that it is not a bug of PixelPost, because otherwise it must have happened before...
so, experts, who knows the reasons for that?
I don't

Hi Connie,
with my Browsers (IE 6 and Firefox) from home my pixelpost-website works fine!
Could you see the site (http://www.kohler-online.com/pixelpost/index.php) in the right way?
Maybe the server at work is not set properly ;-).
Thanks!
Stephan

Ich kann es mit Opera 7.5.4 nicht öffnen
BROWSE can't be loaded with Opera 7.5.4 and FireFox as well
it is the server configuration, not the client-configuration, I am sure, are cookies blocked by the server?
I put together a list of questions which you might check, did you?
viel Erfolg,
Connie

Normally this sort of thing is caused by an infinite loop in a .htaccess url rewrite. /index.php?x=something gets rewritten to /something which gets rewritten to /index.php?x=something... etc.
Check if you have any .htaccess files that have rewrite rules causing this sort of problem. Also the .htaccess file may not be in the pixelpost directory, but further up the path.

This is the content in my .htaccess-file:
AddType x-mapp-php4 .phtml
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Last night I changed the paths of Kohler-online.com and other domains. The path was in a subdirectory. Now it is in the root directory. I also deleted pixelpost today and copied it again on my webserver. This time with an FTP-programm from home. The last version I copied with a webfrontend of the provider (German 1 und 1 - maybe that was the problem) at my office. Now it is working again.
I tried with MS IE and Firefox. It's working without any promblems. Would somebody please try with opera and give me feedback!
Thanks
Stephan

still the same error ;=)
I tested with FireFox and with Opera, I even used the "tool of evil", IE
it is always giving the same error
I am sure it is the server configuration
I am sure you should ask your server support
I have no more webspace by 1&1, so I cannot test
but it is definitely some configuration of the server
