I just installed pixel post...and let me just say I think I'm in love. It's simple, the install went so smoothly I thought I did something wrong (it's been a long two weeks of trying and failing with gallery/photoblog stuff)...lol! So I'm using the "simple" theme, because it's well...simple, and elegant. My question is...is there a way to add thumbnails from the catergory of the image you are viewing between the image/description are and the comments area? I'm using 1.4.2.

Yes, sometimes things are running smoothly, and it is good for us to hear that as mostly only problems are reported!

well, the categories of the images:

you can either add the thumbnail-row to the template and that will show the actual thumbnails <IMAGE_THUMBNAIL_ROW>

then, you can show the categories of an image as link (<IMAGE_CATEGORY> )

another possibility is to show a Category List of Links, that's an addon, you can download it here: http://www.pixelpost.org/v1/index.php?x=downloads&details=42

but as far as I remember there is no thumbnailrow of thumbnails of that category, I think it would crowd the screen if an image has more than one imae :smile:

Thanks! I went and looked, and ended up finding anothr addon that I liked, so now I have a row of recent uploads under the image. Perfect! I love this blog, it's so much easier to edit good ol' html!

I swear, I never look through IE ;=)

well, these photos are really impressive, the landscape attracts me even more, as I am a fan of Siberia and Northern Russia, similar skies, lakes, vegetation there..

Thanks Connie! Winter will be upon us soon, I'm hoping to get some more florals shot before starting on the winter landscapes.
