This is something that I really need badly... Is there a possibility to re-upload a photo in an individual post, to replace the previous version of the image with a better one? Right now I am relying on public library computers to edit my photos, but I may want to re-upload new edited versions when I get a new notebook computer in the next few weeks with photoshop. Is it possible to create an addon for this?

Sorry for posting twice. I would have deleted this thread after posting the other one. Thanks for informing me!

Has there been a new release with this feature yet?

If you are FTP-savvy you can easily just overwrite the old image and thumbnail with copies of the new one. You'd need to resize the thumbnail yourself though..

actually, on several server setups i have worked on, you have to delete the orignal then upload the new image, named the same...
no, pixelpost 1.5 is the version that is on the brink, re-upload image is a new feature in it

i'm excited. this is exactly what i've been wanting for a while, i've had to either do it manually or just delete the whole post and start again... the only thing i didn't like about that is that it screws up the image number in the url. my latest image is at index.php?showimage=66, but i really only have 51 images. not a big deal but it will be very nice to have this new feature. thanks :]

this is why you should look into the url-rewrite hack...image number isnt really an image number, its just an ID placed on a post, and having a set order isnt really that important
