UGH...I just cleared a massive post on accident. Can you tell I’m fit to be in charge here! haha...
Ok, so to sum what all what I just wrote and deleted like an idiot (mice with back buttons are dangerous)...
So...great capture! my main comments, the beam is a tad too far to the right, and the how it lines up with the flag makes it seem level, although it isn’t with the framing...this is one of those few that needs to be "square" and just lock into place. Background and action make a GREAT capture though.
I’m questionable on no seeing a floor, filling the frame with the flag is what I would have done at first, but a smidgeon of the pads and base of the beam may have set the scene just a little better. I guess they drilled that into me shooting track...so the thought might just be an old habit.

The flag really made this shot for me, however I wouldve like to see the floor on this one, just to get an idea of how high the beam was.

i disagree with both of the above.
i would have done the opposite and kept even the beam out of it just leaving the gymnast and flag - probably not the most conventional composition but that's how i'd do - i know most people would disagree but I like some abstractness.

Thank you for your critique. This is really something I look for: honest critique.
All the feedbacks help me to think many what if senarios. Yes, I agree that we could probably give a little more room to the right of the beam.
Actually, if I included the floor, I think most of you will be disapointted. It is not very good looking... and will change the whole picture's effect.
Thanks again!

if the floor was a solid blue pad, it would be cool, thats what my brain was thinking at the time.

I had the same thought as Joey, I think it would be even better without the beam. Try cropping it out with a piece of paper in front of your monitor. It changes the context and makes it a bit other-worldly or abstract. Swell shot.
