No Calendar in About and Browse?

I am not able to get a Calendar (using tag <SITE_CALENDAR>) in either the About or the Browse Templates.

Thoughts?

i need to see your calendar.php. mine is so heavily modified that now i can never be sure what others look like.

but i do know the solution to this. just link me to your site first.

Nope. TUsing the fix you reference and I lose the calendar altogether.
