Updating Categories

Is there way to update Categories quickly? Say I have pictures from Europe and thats the catergory they are in. But then I want to add all those pictures in a new catergory named 2005. Is there a way of doing this with having to edit each and every picture?

errr, I'm sure you can fiddle aroudn manually with the mySQL database, but as of now I don't think so.

you want to change the category name or photo names?
category names can be edited in admin panel >> categories. Chaning the name of a category to a another name will change the category name of all images in that old category.

I want to change/add a category to a mass number of photos. Say I have 30 pictures that are in the Europe categiory, but I decided I want to add them to my 2005 category as well. Right now the only way to do that is to go to images, and click on each picture individually and add the category, hit save and do that for 30 pictures, its kind of annoying. I was just wondering if there as a addon that could make this process a little easier. One that would allow you to set a group of pictures to a category. Thanks.

yeah mass edit of categories. That's one of open issues in the dev team but still no time to do that....
