Hi - I deleted my Db and restored it. All the settings are fine, I can log on to PP admin. When I open my index.php I don't get anything back. Even no source code? How is that possible?

blank page on index.php?
then you have errors on the page
copy the original files (including index.php and excluding pixelpost.php)
check pixelpost.php file seperately.

templates are there.
I am wondering if there is something like a caching of php scripts on my host? Something like I update my index.php with the new version (1.4.2) but the server still uses the old version?

It can be like this so talk also with your ISP about this problem.

we could have a deeper look into http://www.richardalois.com/includes/phpinfo.php and compare that with other, working ones, but I must run to the office now...

Give us link to page which fail to load. Coz you changed index page we can get what can be wrong.

Did you make something more then only drop and restore DB??

PS. Reason of blank page can be errors in some of them. I.e. partial upload of script/template files, ... .

reason can also be a missing language file or pixelpost.php and/or other files in includes-folder

I think I uploaded v 1.4.2 ten times already, that's what I did...
Restoring the db is the wrong word. I exported the tables and inserted them in a new db (settings alright in pixelpost.php)

Could you check the page now? error reporting is on.

did you edit it inside cpanel?
try editing it on your computer and then save it in ANSI mode and uploading it again

If germanseneca's PP works now it means that he forgot to upload that file :P
