Nice pic. I would have liked to have seen more of the bird. The feet/talons especially.

The heads not as sharp as I would like, either. Maybe a slightly faster shutter speed. That way the had could be really sharp and you'd still have some motion on the wings.

With a pic like this... I would say zoom out to include the whole bird... or crop in a lot farther to really focus on the head with part of the wings maybe. The composition just doesn't do it too much for me. But you definitely had good timing with the pic!

Mike, I agree, I wasn't a huge fan of this shot. I just liked the motion blur I managed to get.

hmm.. not a bad photo, but i would have done with less motion blur. cool shot, though!
