simple temp .css light not working

I tried editing the light.css file from the template Simple because I wanted to change the light version's background color, but when I reuploaded it the page quit using the stylesheet alltogether. The dark version of the page still works and I made sure it was uploading in ascii. I also tried uploading a backup file and it still doesn't work. Any Ideas.

Did you rename the .css file?
If so you have to update the link to the .css as well.

No it's still named light.css. Another strange thing it's doing is on some of the pages the light style sheet works but it never seems to work on the index page. I changed the background color to #999999 but it doen't appear to have changed anything.

Sorry, I figured it out. I was posting to the wrong folder. I have two pixel post directories. Dumb mistake. Thanks for the help.

Your footer is not diplaying correctly in Firefox.
It loads over thumbnails on the bottom.
