I went into my Options earlier to change my username, which i changed then clicked updated. At the top (as usual) it says changes will be displayed when page is refreshed, or something along those lines. I clicked refresh which took me back to the login page and now neither my new or original username works!! And of course i can't request a new password because it doesn't recognised either of my usernames! (I had completed my e-mail address in the options panel).

Please help me get into my photoblog!! Many thanks

hm. that's very weird.

are you familiar with phpmyadmin? or do you have alternative access to your database as you can update these details in your database manually.

Hi Joey, I'm not terribly in the know about all this stuff but have just checked in my hosting control panel (hosted with web-mania) and can access phpMyAdmin, although wouldn't know where to look! Thanks for an help in advance!

Right, i had a look and as i said i'm not very technically minded!!
In phpMyAdmin for pixelpost i have the following processes in my database listed:
pixelpost_ban
pixelpost_catassoc
pixelpost_categories
pixelpost_comments
pixelpost_config
pixelpost_pixelpost
pixelpost_stats
pixelpost_version
pixelpost_visitors

I have a tab saying SQL and ran the following command in there:

UPDATE pixelpost_config SET `password`=MD5('*****')

(including replacing the *****).

This still doesn't help my initial problem that im sure it's my username that not recognised rather than my password. Many thanks again!
