Hello there,

I am by no means a avid photographer. Its a new hobby of mine. I don't own a super nice camera. All my photos are taken with a Sony Cybershot. Everything is pretty much "point and shoot". Someday I do wish to purchase a camera with more features and explore with different settings. But for now, I use what i have.
Anyway, this is my first photoblog and I'm not quite sure what its purpose is yet. Mainly i use it to display my pictures to my friends. I figured I would share my blog with you guys and gals. Its nothing too spectacular. Some if not most of my images can use alot of help.

Constructive Criticism is definitely welcome as I am so new to photography that anything helps :)

you should pick one or two photos out for us to critique and discuss on the forum, you'll get better feedback

you definitely have an eye for detail, however, i don't really like your water photos that much. they lack the type of detail you had elsewhere. they also seem to be the type of photos that you'd see in a national geographic. which, is good if that's what you're aiming for, otherwise, it's not. the pictures don't seem to even be in the same genre of photography

Thanks for the CC Zach. The water photos were my first attempt. I will definitely be practicing some more.
Do you mean all my photos are national geographic looking or the more nature specific ones?
I'm not really aiming for any particular style of photography at this point in time. I'm more in an experimental stage right now. And as for my pictures being in different genres, you're correct and I do not plan to stick to one thing.

Cheers,

-Dave

nah, the water photos remind me of stuff you'd see in NG, but the other stuff reminds me of something you'd see in some sort of designer magazine or something. it's a really cool look, man. i dig your style. keep up the good work!

Thanks Zach! I appreciate the praise.

I haven't updated the blog much. I'm way too busy with other stuff. I need to get out soon before all the leaves are gone. Fall is one of the most beautiful times of year.
