It's lovely. The shape of the sundial and the way it fits in the frame, and the light on it are gorgeous. But I do think that the bright background is competing with the foreground in a bit of a distracting way.

great detail and lovely colour! ... did i say lovely?
i would try and darken up the bkg a bit, but other than that, i think it's a swell image.
