whenever i try to upload a photo
i get this message

please give us more information - such as ... the 'general info' in your admin and a url to your photoblog. we cant' really help otherwise.

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.
Guessed imagepath: /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/images/
Configured Imagepath /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/images/
Image Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/images) - Thumbnails folder not writable! (It has been set to writable))
You must set correct permissions on this folder or you will not be able to create any thumbnails.
Set the folder to chmod 777 (read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and world).
Thumbnails Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/thumbnails) -
Language Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/language)
Addons Directory: Does Not Exist (should be /_public/photo/pixelpost_1.4.2/addons)

this is a paths permission as far as i can tell. i don't think you should have problems with your server but this could be a possibility too. to eliminate any possible path problem change your 'configured image path' under options to ../images/

thanks, i'll contact my server people and ask them to allow the permissions on all of those folders do you think that will help?

whoops. sorry. i meant problem not permissions. right now the folders aren't even being seen!
like i said try changing your configured imagepath to ../images/

or to relative path:
