I recently installed the latest version of pixelpost. For some reason, index.php will load in the directory where pixelpost is installed but not in my main directory.

Any ideas as to what's causing this?

Here's my info:

PHP-version 4.4.0 (Pixelpost's min requirement: PHP version 4.3.0)

MySQL version 4.0.23-standard (Pixelpost's min requirement: MySQL 3.23.58)

GD-lib bundled (2.0.28 compatible) with JPEG support

Server software Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 mod_ssl/2.8.25 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP/4.4.0 mod_perl/1.29 FrontPage/5.0.2.2510

EXIF Pixelpost is using exifer v1.5 for EXIF information.

Thanks.

you are not exact enough:

is index.php not loaded by default?

try to open your webspace without "index.php" and with "index.php", e.g. "http://www.mydomain.de/" and "http://www.mydomain.de/index.php"

will the complete URL work, the short version not?

it could be the reason that your web server installation does not allow PHP-Files as default files

in some constellations only index.htm or index.html are accepted

ask your hoster to configure your webspace that "index.php" is accepted as default
