I'm working on my template... The majority of images display as I intend on both my Mac and PC (safari, IE, FF, etc.) except for a couple of the images...the styles don't appear to display... I've been refreshing screens for ever and nothing is working!!! grrr....
Here is my site: http://www.mikelangelo.com/blog/index.php
that page should be fine, however, when I click the image to go to the next image, (http://www.mikelangelo.com/blog/index.php?showimage=289)...I get no styles on IE on the PC. This same problem happens with the next image...but then displays properly after that and then eventually it happens again... It's only happens on a few images... but consistently on those images for me.
Could someone take a look on IE for PC and let me know if you see the same thing and perhaps offer a suggestion as to why it's occuring?

It's working fine for me man, I cycled through a bunch of pictures with no problems, and it looks great, only thing I would change is the comments pop up..its huge. Nicely done though, bravo.

I dig it, too, much better than the iteration before it. I know what you were trying to do with that one (getting it all on one page w/o having to click on stuff), but this still works and is sleek an elegant, to boot.

Thanks. Yeah... I'm much happier with this design as well. I'm actually considering it "finished" now too! Yay! Thanks very much for everyone's feedback!!

i've just decided to keep mine seriously simple - that way it's harder to find problems :P

Hi mikelangelo,
I was just reading through this thread and I tested your site out with my browser (IE 6.0.2) and I run into the same problem. On the main site the styles work perfectly, but when I visit a few photos later, the style is gone. I just thought I would let you know that I see it too.

I think that the problem is that you made your mod based on the "Simple" template, which for some reason has a bug when viewed in IE. I use FF most of the time, so I didn't notice it before. I just experienced what you are seeing using IE on the following post:
http://www.mikelangelo.com/blog/index.php?showimage=289
The style gets screwed up when you come to a post that has "double" quotes in the comments. 'Single' quotes are fine. If you search the forum you'll find a thread or two about it.
Here is the offending text:
Well... warm colors anyway. (Photo friday submission for "Warmth.")

Thank you very much!!! I never would have figured that out!! I went through each image and removed all quotes and all of my images appear to be functioning groovy, now.
But... I found something else interesting. If I go to the first image in my blog:
http://www.mikelangelo.com/blog/index.php?showimage=1
the image links to the 60th image!!!?? now THERE's a feature! ;-) no big deal..but weird!
Thanks very much for your help skennedy1217.

also if you use the lang iso tags then you won't have the problem with jus seeing
Shutter Speed:
Aperture:
Focal Length:
ISO:
like you are with your first image - if the data isn't present those won't be either.
god knows what happened to make that link to #60! lol

Yeah... I added the "shutter speed:" text so folks would be able to understand it better..but i forgot that I had many pics without that info. Thanks for the tip. I'll fix that up.

Sometimes all it takes is a second set of eyes. Stuff like that lurks under my nose all the time. :)
