Thumbnails not being created. phpSuExec Prob?

I have already created the thumbnails folder, it's there. When I upload an image, the image thumbnail is not created even thought the image does display on the photoblog. Could it be that phpSuExec interferes with it? I tried changing to 777 and nothing.

Help is appriciated.

Edit: Actually I checked the stats and it says it can write to the thumbnails directory but still does not create them.

yes and no, your GD-Lib comes without JPG-support

There we go, installed GD-Lib now. GD-lib bundled (2.0.28 compatible) with JPEG support
