I know this is a typical ocean shot, but I just wanted to know how others feel about it. Please be truthful because I base a lot of my future shots on this type of angle and focus.
Thank you.

I really like the shot. I like the subject. Good composition, I think. I'm diggin' the colors as well. It looks like some extra blur was added in post...I like it...but I wouldn't do that in every one of these shots. Very "Wish you were here!" postcard-like.
I think the way you focused on just one plant, with a some more in the middle ground (lower-left) worked really well. The water looks great, too. I think I'm not a big fan of the clouds in the background. The slight gray of the clouds seems to slightly take away from the "paradise" feel of the rest of the image.
Great shot!

Thanks mikelangelo,
I agree with you 100% about the clouds...there was a fog rolling in and I missed my opportunity for a clear shot. Your comments have been very helpful.
Thanks

I love the colors and the softness. It looks like a dream sequence.

i was going to leave a comment on your site, but the add comment link seems to be broken in firefox...
the photo is rad, the first thing i noticed was the dead space on the right, maybe a little crop could make this more interesting?

*edit it seems your comment link is linking to /25s/#addcomment , not 25s/index.php?showimage=240#addcomment (so it goes to the main page before adding a comment)

Thanks Darkphoenix and danN,
@danN: Looks like the addcomment doesn't work correctly from the direct link in Firefox. I don't know how to fix it, but thanks for the heads up. =)
