ok...I sometimes see (I forget the proper terms) poor detail/color accuracy when to contrasting objects meet in some of my photos. Below is a prime example, it's of my white dog with a darker background. You'll see that there is significant blues. You'll notice it especially on the area of the nose and face of the my dog. Very bright blues on the white.
Assuming that makes sense when you look at the image, what are some things I can do to help prevent that when I'm taking the picture? I'm currently thinking a lower iso setting when possible, a higher quality lens (this picture was taken with the cheap kit lens on my Canon 300d)... what else? Is there anything I can do about it?
I also realize that this image of my dog is blown out... is that part of the problem?
