i'd like to have a 5 thumbnail wide, centered div or table for my archive page.
i wanted to get it centred in the wrapper div, so i created a table, so i could use the align=center modifier.
if i set the table width to 610, firefox is happy, and it looks centered and good. in ie6, it's just a horizontal row of images - 19 of them. not too nice.
anyone know how to get ie6 to recognise max-width?
the page is here...

or am I going at this in completely the wrong way?
thanks for any suggestions!
